Daily responsibilities & Saturday cleaning — Rowan, Chloe & Juliet
EVERY DAY — ALL THREE KIDS
- Clean up any mess you made downstairs before the end of the day — dishes, wrappers, clothes, shoes, bags
- Keep the lofts tidy — put away anything you used before leaving the space
- Put belongings away in your room before bed
YOUR OWN ROOM — Your responsibility, every day & every Saturday
DAILY
- Make the bed
- Put clothes in hamper
- Put trash in the trash can
- Return any items to their place
SATURDAY
- Vacuum carpet
- Wipe ceiling fan blades and hub
- Dust dresser/hutch and shelves
- Wipe desk surface
- Wipe window blinds
- Wipe baseboards
- Vacuum ceiling vent cover
- Empty out trash can
MONTHLY
- Vacuum under the bed
- Dust ceiling fan light covers
- Wipe walls for scuffs
- Empty and wipe out trash can
DAILY
- Make the bed
- Put clothes in hamper
- Put trash in the trash can
- Return any items to their place
SATURDAY
- Vacuum carpet
- Wipe ceiling fan blades
- Wipe window blinds
- Wipe makeup vanity surface and mirror
- Wipe all product shelves
- Dust dresser and wipe drawer fronts
- Wipe full-length mirror
- Wipe baseboards
- Empty out trash can
MONTHLY
- Vacuum under the bed and vanity
- Deep wipe vanity shelves (hairspray buildup)
- Dust ceiling fan light covers
- Empty and wipe out trash can
DAILY
- Make both beds
- Put clothes in hamper
- Put trash in the trash can
- Put toys and items back in their place
SATURDAY
- Vacuum carpet
- Wipe ceiling fan blades and light covers
- Wipe window blinds
- Dust dresser and shelving unit
- Wipe white bed frames and drawer fronts
- Vacuum closet floor
- Wipe baseboards
- Empty out trash can
MONTHLY
- Pull out under-bed drawers and vacuum underneath
- Wipe wall decals with barely damp cloth
- Vacuum closet corners
- Empty and wipe out trash can
SHARED SPACES — Saturday rotation (switches every week)
Each Saturday, check which week it is (Week 1, 2, or 3 below) and do your assigned group. The rotation repeats every 3 weeks. Use the first Saturday of each month as the Week 1 reset.

TV Loft
- Vacuum carpet

Kids' Bathroom
- Scrub both sinks and wipe countertop
- Wipe cabinet fronts and mirror
- Scrub toilet bowl; disinfect seat, lid, tank, base
- Scrub tub/shower surface and tile walls
- Check shower curtain for mildew
- Sweep/vacuum floor then mop
- Empty and wipe out trash can
- Wipe baseboards
Homeschool Loft
- Vacuum carpet
- Wipe both desks
- Dust both bookshelves
- Wipe rolling art/supply cart shelves
- Wipe ceiling fan blades
- Wipe all window blinds
- Wipe baseboards
Stairs
- Vacuum each stair tread individually
- Wipe white railing and banisters
- Wipe newel posts
- Spot wipe scuffs on staircase walls
Upstairs Hallway
- Vacuum carpet
- Spot wipe walls and fingerprints
- Wipe light switch plates
- Wipe both sides of doors and frames
- Wipe baseboards
Circle Room
- Tidy cables before vacuuming
- Vacuum carpet
- Dust keyboard and drum kit with dry microfiber
- Wipe desk surface
- Wipe window blinds
- Wipe baseboards
Downstairs Bathroom
- Wipe sink, faucet, and countertop
- Wipe mirror
- Scrub toilet bowl; disinfect seat, lid, tank, base
- Wipe tub/shower surround
- Check shower curtain for mildew
- Sweep/vacuum floor then mop
- Empty and wipe out trash can
- Wipe window blinds
- Wipe baseboards
Notes for parents:
• Juliet (9) may need help or supervision with toilet scrubbing and mopping when it's her week for Group A or C bathrooms.
• "Clean up your messes downstairs" means the same day — not at the end of the week.
• Track which week you're on and mark it on the fridge or calendar. Week 1 = first Saturday of each month as a reset point.
• Monthly tasks (under Own Room) can be added to the first Saturday of each month.
